Let us tell you the story that lies at the heart of the Puppy Charms brand.
It's a story of love, care and miraculous healing that launched a mission to help animals through naturotherapy.
We - the Founders of Puppy Charms - myself Rufus, Lucy, Casey, Catherine and Daniel, were a typical family of 5.
I was born on an ostrich farm near Warsaw. I'm the boss in the shop. Calm, composed and patient at all times.
I keep an eye on deadlines (especially those for food).
I participate in every aspect of the development of the store. I supervise every stage of work, expecting the best results. This store is the third most important thing in my life (after eating and sleeping).

In my eary age, I have seen and experienced many terrible things in my life. I spent the first two months of my life on a pseudo kennel, where I was forced to fight for a place to sleep, access to my mother, food and other necessities.
Fortunately, my current parents saved me. To this day, I remember my siblings and hope that their lives look like mine, which is sweet and carefree.
In the store, I make sure that shopping is safe, easy and that everything runs smoothly. I'm the head of security and if there's a problem, I'll solve it myself.
I was born in the same kennel as Rufus (my older brother). I am the greatest, smartest and most obedient (I wish I could, but unfortunately the facts are different).
The truth is that I have my own character, for which I am loved by everyone around me. I am a volcano of inexhaustible energy, constantly on the move, looking for new challenges night and day. Light soul, as parents say.
In the store, I play the role of a designer, an artistic soul. If you have an idea for a project, write to me and I will implement it for you.
A wonderful person, always cheerful, cheerful and full of energy (just like Lucy). Sometimes he runs around the garden, chasing us, although we don't really know why.
When he gets into the car, we just wait and watch where he will take us this time: to the park, to the meadow, to the new forest, to the water, to the mountains (it seems to us that he hardly knows).
He loves running in the mountains, we hear him, after returning from some competition, telling his mother that he ran 100 km or more (why?? Dad?? Why?? How can that be??? !!!).
He created this online store himself, so we are extremely proud of him. He sat at the computer at night, day after day, week after week, but he did it.
He tries to take photos of us, even though we don't want to pose... he chases us around the forest with a camera and snaps, and we run away from him (it's great fun).
Dear mother, patient, caring, warm and full of compassion for every animal. A lover of natural medicine, which he uses for each of us. We are healthy because she has incredible knowledge, which she shares at every step. He massages us, uses color therapy, music therapy, and even says some strange spells towards us.
Full of energy, she runs with us in the forest every day, which is why we love her, because we need a lot of exercise, and she knows it very well. She can't scream when we do something wrong (I guess that's dad's role).
We think she gives us too little food, although she thinks otherwise because she reads the notes on food labels and carefully counts every gram. She holds a specialist title in emergency medicine, public health and health promotion.
She confirms her skills with diplomas obtained at the Medical University of Lodz during 5 years of studies, so we trust her.

Even before my parents were married, I - a 4-month-old Rhodesian puppy - Rufus - joined our family.
I have always been an integral member of the family.
In subsequent years, Lucy and Casey joined us. We lived happily in our little house in the woods. We lounged in the garden, chased in the woods, and in winter we all lounged in the living room by the fireplace. However, fate threw us a difficult challenge when I was diagnosed with malignant spleen cancer a few years ago.
It was frightening and overwhelming for us. Our dog and human hearts bled, and the tears did not stop flowing.
At that moment, our whole life turns upside down, from a happy loving family emerges drama, pain and crying. Dad doesn't want to believe it, so we're making appointments for more tests at other clinics. State-of-the-art equipment, the latest cameras, the most outstanding specialists, we hear only one thing every time:
"There are tumors on his spleen, and it is necessary to operate quickly and get the material for further study."
Prognosis for continued survival without surgery up to 3 months at most, after surgery it is difficult to say - maybe a few months longer, a year, depends on how he responds to chemotherapy.
My parents don't have human children, but they have us: me, Lucy and Casey, and since they are ambitious millenials our dog's life has always been fabulous. Toys, snot, sleeping under the covers, the best food, supplements, a house with a big garden in the woods - and suddenly nothing matters anymore. Mom experienced the worst, she cried all the time, woke up crying in the night, then lay down on the kitchen floor - so as not to wake any of us and cry... I was also very scared, the girls had no idea what was going on, but no one was in the mood to play.
I've been scheduled for excision surgery, the date is in a week... Just what will this surgery do, it won't guarantee that everything will return to normal, and yet live without a spleen.

It was early February, in the evening I was sitting with my mother by the fireplace, where my dad's running clothes were drying. I won't forget that moment, but my doggy intuition prompted me, take that smelly blue shirt. What do I have to lose, life without a spleen, for the rest of my life medications, chemo going regularly to the vet .... sucks such a life, but I can not leave my parents and girlfriends, not yet now too much I love them and they me.
I look at mom, at mom and t-shirt, at t-shirt and mom ..this one only caught on after a long while:
